WAGBA White Asparagus Dinner

The West Australian-German Business Association (WAGBA) celebrated the white asparagus season with a dinner at the Honorary Consulate of Perth on Tuesday 15th November 2016. WAGBA members came together to celebrate this annual German tradition and enjoy this German speciality in Perth.
The exquisite four course meal, each course featuring fresh WA grown white asparagus, was expertly prepared by Hans Lang and Marianne Kempf from the Gala Bakery.

In Germany the white asparagus season is celebrated enthusiastically at festivals, in restaurants and homes, to mark the beginning of spring. The dinner brought this German tradition to WAGBA members here in Perth.
